Note: this is a spatial display of the correspondents' weekly black fly reports, so
that we all might see trends, and also use the information to optimize our outdoors
experience. Please plan on sending in your reports weekly, using the suggested format
below.
Suggested format
Subject line: Black fly report
Report content: Date (or date range), location, Maine Atlas map number, rating on a scale
of 1 to 3 (1=none or few; 2=some, but tolerable; 3=many, a royal pain), your name.
Note: the rating could be an average of several days or for just the date of the report.
