Some
information about black flies | Return to Maine Nature News
home page |
This is the third Black Fly Report for this year. We invite your future participation!
The more data points available, the better the picture we all will have. It's simple and fun. Just e-mail a report of the format:
Location; Maine Atlas map number; black fly severity on a scale of 1 to 3 (1 = none or few; 2 = some, but tolerable; 3 = many, a royal pain); your initials. Thank you!

Note: this is a spatial display of the correspondents' weekly black fly reports, so that we all might see trends, and also use the information to optimize our outdoors experience.
